Restraint, then abundance. A fine gold chain runs almost bare along its length, marked only by single crystals hung at spaced intervals, each one threaded and knotted by hand. Toward the centre the intervals close. Crystals multiply, overlap and crowd one another until the lowest curve becomes a loose, jostling cluster. Each drop hangs free, so the cluster shifts as the wearer moves. The sparse edges make the centre read as larger than it is, and the quiet of the chain makes every crystal easier to notice.
