A single braided cord of fine gold wire runs the length of the piece, looped around and tied in a knot that doubles as ornament. Below the knot, forms descend at different heights: open mesh cones flared like small bells, a smooth teardrop of worked wire, domed discs, and a long pendant dense with crystals, each one threaded and knotted by hand. Nothing locks or fastens, so the arrangement shifts with every wearing. The knot can sit at the collarbone or low on the chest. Each wearing resettles the cascade a little differently.
