In the Far-East, dating back to the 14th century, Royal Family members attending ceremonial occasions would be adorned with objects and garments created by using an unusual technique of knitting metal wire by hand. Inspired by this rare and vanishing artform, known to just a few remaining specialized artisans, we have created extraordinary and timeless jewelry pieces.
Our own small and exclusive team of skillful and specialized artisans use fine brass or stainless-steel wire of certain specifications to knit even and countless tiny loops by just their bare fingertips with no needles, since this is not a crochet technique. They can form any shape desired and spend many hours creating each single piece.
Our experienced silversmiths then form, handcraft, carve and assemble all connecting solid metal parts by hand individually.
If you have purchased a CRISTALLO design, after your order is placed, dozens of high-quality tiny crystal beads of your preferred colors are attached one by one, each in its own hand-made, metal pin which is as thin as a fraction of a millimeter, so they can swing and move independently.
Further processes are undertaken to apply silver 925, 18 carat gold and 18 carat rose gold double plating, or silver oxidization to achieve your preferred precious metal finishing surface for a long-lasting result.
Quality is a priority for us: from design, raw materials selection, assembling each piece and adding finishing touches, to quality control and signature packaging. It’s about jewelry after all, the definition of perfection.
